Tree Branches in Autumn*

 

 

                                  Wrapped in black velvet;

                                     branches and trunks

                                     set off amber leaves,

                                     providing the

                                     framework for

                                     Autumn's spectacle.

 

                                  Do I remember

                                    it is Love's

                                    faithful Presence

                                    that supports and

                                    gives life

                                    to my efforts?
