                                       Where does the rainbow

                                          go on a sunny day?

 

                                       What songs play on the wind?

 

                                        An invitation to stop

                                          and ponder such questions;

                                          imagining a song

                                          sung by the colors

                                          of the rainbow:

                                          solos on a sunny day,

                                          a grand chorus after the rain.

 

                                        Moved by

                                          unseen rhythms

                                          I step out,

                                          dancing across the water,

                                          to the music of the rainbow.
